GrantNav Data
GrantNav is our free search engine that allows you to query and download grants data published by UK funders using the 360Giving Data Standard. The GrantNav user guide can provide you with information on how to get the best GrantNav and use its powerful search functions.
GrantNav offers the option to download the entire dataset as CSV or JSON files. However, the dataset is several hundred MB and growing. The data is updated daily from the 360Giving Datastore.
A list of all datasets and the date on which they were last updated is maintained on GrantNav.
Not all 360Giving data is necessarily included in downloads from GrantNav. Any files that fail validation, or aren’t available under a suitably open licence (ie, one that permits re-use for any purpose) aren’t included. This means that all data in GrantNav is valid according to the 360Giving Data Standard, and is available for re-use for any purpose.
In addition, GrantNav downloads do not contain all the original fields published by the publisher. It contains only the key fields. If you want to look at all the fields published in the original data, you can download the individual files you are interested in from the Data Registry via the 360Giving Data Quality Dashboard.
