About our in-house training
We deliver workshops and training to support your team, organisation, or community to responsibly collect and use data with confidence.
We can tailor any of our off-the-shelf workshops with examples adapted to your interests, or create something new. Our expertise spans every step of the data pipeline and more: we can support you to develop skills with cleaning, enhancing, or analysing data, publishing using the 360Giving Data Standard, visualisation and storytelling, or explore topics related to data strategy and responsible use of data – looking at issues of power and equity.
Our expert team would be happy to work with you either virtually or in-person, to provide training that speaks to your specific context and needs.
In practice examples
Training for a team
A funder was seeking to improve the way that data is used and shared in their organisation. 360Giving developed and delivered a bespoke workshop on data visualisations and storytelling to the whole organisation. Doing the workshop as a team supported the funder to develop a shared vision and approach to using data, and also provided a space for reflection on their specific challenges and learning.
Training for grantees
As part of a “Funder Plus” approach to offer support beyond money, a grantmaker commissioned 360Giving to deliver two workshops from our public workshops programme to their grantees. One was our in-person full day training programme,‘Data in a Day’, that was delivered at the funder’s office. The other was an online workshop providing an introduction to GrantNav and UKGrantmaking, to support charities and fundraisers to get the most out of the data available.
