Intersectionality is increasingly a buzzword, but undertaking multi-dimensional data analysis is easier said than done. As funders are collecting more equity data, learning how to interpret, use, and present this data responsibly is more important than ever.

In this interactive online workshop, attendees will learn about the challenges of analysing intersectional data, and explore options for using and reporting on it.

This session will cover:

With support from our host, Tania Cohen, attendees will have the opportunity to explore examples and ask questions about different scenarios. After the workshop, there will also be the option to book a free 1-1 intersectional data support session with Tania, should you wish to discuss any aspects of the workshop in further detail or have further questions.

Who is the session for?

This workshop is designed for people who work for grantmaking organisations, and want to learn more about how they can undertake intersectional analysis and present multi-dimensional data, particularly equity data.

We will use Excel including pivot tables to demonstrate the handling of the data, so familiarity with Excel would be helpful for attendees – although the principles are the same regardless of the tools used.

What will I need?

A limited number of bursaries are available for charities interested in attending this workshop. See 360Giving’s Events Terms & Conditions to find out more.
