Overview
As a publisher, you can display your 360Giving data on your website or intranet using our widgets for free! This can help celebrate your grantees and clarify the kinds of projects or organisations you fund.
Why get a widget?
360Giving widgets are a free benefit of publishing. They allow you to:
- Promote your grants data on your own website in an easy-to-read view to demonstrate who and what you fund, or the size of typical grants.
- Show your commitment to open grantmaking and funder transparency by publishing your grants data using the 360Giving Data Standard.
- Demonstrate to trustees, other funders and grantees that you publish your grants data in the 360Giving Data Standard.
- Generate interest in your data from stakeholders to show the impact of your work.
- Create an easy link to the list of grants you awarded in a given year for your Annual Report SORP disclosure.
For example, you could add a table showing all your grants awarded in the last 12 months alongside your 360Giving file. Or, you could add a chart under each Grants Programme showing the amounts awarded within that programme.

How does it work?
Our widgets allow you to embed grants data on your website or intranet.
First, you create a search in our widget builder and choose the type of view you’d like (either a grants table or aggregate chart). The widget builder then gives you a small bit of code to include in the back end of your website or intranet so you can display the 360Giving widget.
Creating a search in the widget builder works in exactly the same way as in our search engine, GrantNav. This means it’s possible to filter by keyword(s) to create thematic views or to search by grant date, amount, programme, geography and more. Our GrantNav User Guide includes tips and guidance.
If you need further help configuring your selection, please contact the Publisher Helpdesk using support@threesixtygiving.org.
